Okuninka

Okuninka is a perfect place for everyone who wish to rest and relax in the open air. The clean and picturesque Biale Lake encourages tourists to swim and practice water sports, and the full-of-fish Bug river to catch fish. Okuninka annually attracts tens of thousands of people.

Okuninka TOURISM

The name “Okuninka” is probably derived from perch (Polish: okoń), which inhabit Biale Lake or from wetlands called in Polish “oka.”
Since the 1960s holiday camps have been built here. Currently, there are as many as 40 of them. Apart from camps there are numerous discos, water sport equipment rentals, restaurants and bars and in the summer season a funfair is in operation. The flagship places in Okuninka are: the church, Rusalka restaurant and one of the first holiday camps, i.e. the camping in the north coast of the lake.
