Krolewski is located at Motlawa, on the Island of Olowianka, in the old centre of Gdansk, near both the philharmonic hall and the Central Maritime Museum with Soldek anchored next to it. The historic crane is on the other side of the river, it takes about 15 minutes to get there on foot, although you cross the river using the ferry in the summer season. There are great views from the windows over the riverside and the old city on one side, and the fountain and philharmonic hall on the other. The hotel is away from the city bustle and intensive car traffic.
This six-storey hotel was created in the reconstructed royal granary. The design of the interiors was adapted to suit the existing walls, and the hotel advertises itself as a unique combination of 17th century architecture and 21st century furnishings. The slightly narrow foundations mean that the lobby and restaurant are a little cramped, and the bathrooms with showers and windows are also small. However, the rooms themselves are high and spacious, with wooden floors and sailing maps as decorations. This hotel has been open for several years and offers recently renewed, noise-proof singles and doubles, bigger “plus” rooms and five suites. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, minibars, hairdryers and anti-allergic bedding. The Admiral suites, often used for corporate events, always impress with their size and furnishing. The terrace and windows of the restaurant look out straight onto the water. The restaurant invites you to Sunday brunch and to sample its European cuisine. Wireless Internet and car parking are free.
