The hotel is located in the centre of Gdansk, on the currently being renovated Island of Granaries, a few minute walk from the Long Market. The Tri-city - Warsaw road is next to the hotel. The Novotel has views overlooking the hotel garden with its pub terrace and an arm of the Nowa Motlawa River. The railway station is 1.5 km away.
Novotel has been a well-known trademark of Gdansk since 1976. The hotel consists of a ground level, dark blue conference and restaurant section, currently awaiting modernisation, and the renovated, four-storey, brown brick texture accommodation section. Novotel has two entrances: from the road and the other from the secure car park, which one crosses when heading towards the Long Market.
