The hotel is located outside of the centre, towards the eastern part of the town near the Warsaw road. Only a few steps away are the Galeria Echo shopping mall, Swietokrzyska Academy, and various other local amenities. The hotel has plenty of secure free parking, even if you arrive by helicopter.
Opened in 1992, Kongresowy has always been one of the most modern hotels in the city, undergoing a thorough restoration in 2006. The hotel consists of two black and white buildings of two- and three-storeys, connected with a twelve-floor office building. All rooms are spacious, with bathrooms, desks, free Internet connection, satellite TV, and Prestige Hotels cosmetics. There are mini-bars in some rooms, and many of the single rooms have wide beds. The air-conditioned deluxe suite has a shower cabin with sauna function, while the Presidential Suite is equipped with white furniture, Jacuzzi and kitchen. The patio restaurant, with its tropical plants, turtles, fountain and dance floor, is the pride of the hotel. The Pink Restaurant, banquet hall, coffee and drink bars, nightclub, paid billiard, hairdressers and free newspapers in the lobby are all available for guests. The Congress Centre consists of eight rooms, including the impressive Congress Hall, which is the second biggest in town and host to the Miss Polonia finals in 2000. The Institute of Spa & Beauty in the hotel offers a 10% discount to all hotel guests.
