The Chopin Hotel is situated at the Mogilskie roundabout, a few minutes taxi ride from the main bus and train terminals. From the hotel it's about a 20 minute walk to the old medieval market square and about 30 to Kazimierz - and there are plenty of trams and buses to these destinations stopping at the roundabout. Nearby the hotel is the city's Opera House and next to the main train station is a mega modern shopping centre.
The Chopin is a modern grey, granite building sporting a huge canopy over its entrance. It offers a great range of services including a complimentary gym and sauna, hairdressers, beauty saloon and six big conference rooms. The hotel's standard rooms are carpeted in a light neutral tone and all are of a good and similar size. All have cupboards, desk and cosy seating area fixed into each room. White tiled bathrooms are spotless and have a combined shower and small bath. Superior rooms on the third floor are decorated in a vibrant, multi-coloured scheme. They all feature flat screen TVs, DVDs and cool built in metallic swivel reading lights over the beds. On the ground floor there's a bar where you can grab a free paper and an open all day restaurant. The Chopin would be great for big groups or as a convention centre.

  A hot and cold buffet breakfast is served between 6.30 and 10.00am during weekdays and between 6.30 and 10.30am during weekends.

  Children up to 12 can stay for free in a double room in their parents' bed. In triple rooms the charge is 10 Euro per night for the third bed for a child or adult. Cots and high chairs are available free of charge.

  There are two separate floors for smokers and two separate floors for non-smokers in the hotel. Guests can also smoke in the bar. The restaurant is non-smoking.

  The hotel has its own guarded parking charged at 40 PLN for 24 hours for cars and 90 PLN for 24 hours for coaches. There are spaces for up to 90 cars.

  The hotel has three specially adapted rooms with facilities for disabled guests. These have wider doors, low light switches, a separate sleeping area for a carer and larger bathrooms. Note there is only a bath tub with seat and shower.
