Florianska is one of the busiest streets in the Old Town, with plenty of boutiques to browse in and historical monuments to enchant. It’s here that you’ll find the Floryan occupying what was once a 16th century Gothic townhouse. Florianska street is about a 20 minute walk from the main train station and just a few minutes from the main market square. You enter the Floryan Hotel through an archway and the reception is immediately on your left.
The hotel’s rooms are in two parts of the building which are connected by an Italian restaurant 'The Vesuvio'. Rooms at the front overlook Florinska and are spaciously proportioned with high windows and parquet wooden floorboards. Some of the rooms can accommodate up to four adults. There’s no lift but gigantic wall paintings in Toulouse Lautrec style will take your mind off the climb. Going through the restaurant at the back of the building are six rooms in a new, smaller wing which are furnished in a more contemporary style. If you’re concerned about possible noise at the front you can request one of these quieter rooms. Note, there's no lift in either parts of this four storey building.
