Junior Hotel is located in the city's surrounding countryside. The hotel is next to a junction that links to the A4 and E77 highways for the airport, reached in ten minutes, and connections to Warsaw, Skawina and other major cities. Wieliczka Salt Mine is about 15 minutes drive away, Auschwitz an hour and forty and Tyniec Abbey about 10 minutes. The city centre is a 30 minute drive or up to an hour on a bus and tram.
The Junior has the feel of an American ranch with its low-slung wings arched around its gardens. Rooms are spot on for mid-range, with everything expected in this category; light wood fitted furnishings, free Wi-Fi, and modern, shower cubicle bathrooms. Double glazing keeps any traffic whines safely at bay. Bigger groups can stretch out in the triples and quads, and singles are a good size too. A cream and white dappled restaurant and cosy lobby bar with leather seating around a log burning stove are on hand to keep guests fed and watered. A banquet hall and conference facilities rounds it all off.
