The Olimpia is on the edge of town in a leafy neighbourhood about 20 to 25 minutes by bus or tram from the main city centre. It should take about 15 to 20 minutes in a taxi from the main railway station. The hotel's in the perfect place for sports enthusiasts as it's built within a gym complex with its own football pitch. There's also a huge green oasis across the road for relaxing in. The Olimpia is easy to spot from the street with its curved blue roof.
The Olimpia feels very YHA throughout - which is odd given its three star billing. Carpeted twin, double and triple rooms are simply furnished in plain tones. Extra beds come courtsey of a flip-down sofa. Bathrooms are straightforward; spotless and modern with loo, washbasin and shower cubicle, full stop. The real plus points lie beyond the sleeping spaces as guests can plug into the fab sports centre's facilities including two massive gyms and football pitch. The restaurant's terrace is a great spot to slumber in while catching a game on the outside pitch. The Olimpia's just the ticket for sporty types or big groups.
