U Pana Cognito is located just across the river from the medieval city centre and the historic Jewish quarter of Kazimierz. It's also within easy walking distance of the Japanese Manga Cultural Centre. Crossing the river in another direction, guests can head up to the vast, green space of the Blonia for a lung full of fresh air. The main bus and train stations are a five to ten minute cab ride away.
U Pana Cognito’s 14 rooms are housed in two classical Cracovian 19th century villas set within a rose-filled garden. This three star hotel is set down a quiet residential street adding to its sedate, genteel atmosphere. Simply furnished air-con rooms are a little bit of a let-down but are perfectly proportioned with plain fittings and neutral decor. Some spaces in the main building have lower ceilings as they’re built into the gables. A ground floor restaurant dishes up Polish staples including bigos and pierogi that can be enjoyed on the terrace in good weather.
