Villa Sedan is located in the centre of Sopot, half way between Sopot railway station and the pier, in quiet Pulaski Street. This street lies parallel to the popular thoroughfare known as Monciak, and the villa can be seen from this promenade as one turns into Bema Street. It is close to the cultural, shopping, eating and sporting attractions of the city, as well as those areas known for their nightlife. The windows look out over the street, the yard, and neighbouring houses and gardens.
Renovated in 2002, this green Art Nouveau style Villa originates from before 1887. It is regarded as the quintessence of Sopot, has a special atmosphere and its own history. Its name is related to Sedan in France. Canopies, stairs, balustrades and benches decorate it on the outside, as much as stylish reception does inside. High rooms in stylish brown, with verandas and squeaking wooden floor, differ from each other only in size and arrangement. They are equipped with bathrooms with hairdryers, especially designed rustic furniture, beds with metal heads, desks, original luggage shelves, telephones, Internet, cable TV, juices and bottled drinking water. The twenty-one rooms, exclusively for non-smokers, are available as standard with showers and deluxe with bathtubs, old and decorative floors, foldout sofas and LCD monitors. Small and large suites are at your disposal, too, including a two-storey one with a view on Monciak Street and the sea. The restaurant serves French dishes and a pianist plays there on weekends. Public areas are air-conditioned.
