The Flamingo Hostel is located bang on Zakopane's busy high street, Krupowki, which is packed full of bars, cafes, restuarants and the all essential tacky, tourist shops. About a ten minute walk away is the Gubałowka open air market and funcuilar train that speeds to the top of the mountain with its many attractions. The hostel is about a 20 minute walk from the main bus and train stations. Guests need to head through an archway and the hostel entrance is a marked door on the right.
Budget digs just got some stiff competition with the arrival of the funky, purple dashed Flamingo Hostel. The top floor of Flamingo houses private twin, double and triple rooms all connected to one shared kitchen, lounge, crash out area. Up to nine people can fit into these four rooms, which have two shared bathrooms, and they can be booked individually or all four for a group. On the first floor with has dormintory rooms there's another triple and a double rooms both with en-suite shower rooms. And all guests can kick back in the common room with its fab pop art flamingos or out in the Zakopane sun on the communal balcony.
