The Geovita is perched on a slope of Antalowka Hill and is surrounded by woodland. From some parts of the hotel the mighty Tatra mountain ranges can be glimpsed in the distance. However, its lofty location does mean guests are faced with a trudge up the hill if walking. It takes around 10 to 15 minutes to reach the city centre and main bus and train stations. About a ten minute walk away is Aqua Park.
From the outside this hill side hotel dating from the sixties, is starting to show its age. However, inside everything's more or less as it should be. Standard rooms are kept simple and are a bit blandish but are bright and clean. All but six come with their own balcony that looks out onto the surrounding parkland. All are fitted out with blond wood furniture and shipshape shower rooms. A restaurant, lounge bar, billiard room, sauna, solarium and fitness club means there's plenty to do at the Geovita after a busy day's hiking or skiing.

  A hot and cold buffet breakfast is served from 8 to 10:00am. Breakfasts outside these hours can be arranged.
