Opened in the spring of 2010, Boogie Hostel Deluxe is more stylish and mature in feel than its sister property just one street away, but it's just as central and lively. The four-storey 17th century tenement house which it occupies is located right in the thick of things: walk 300 metres and there's the Old Town's Market Square filled with any number of dining and shopping venues. Buses and trams are also at hand to take guests to other points of interest.
A lot of though and effort went into the redesign of this historic building, which now boasts a snappy and informal vibe. The rooms, up an athletic flight of stairs, blend minimalism with affordable chic. They are outfitted with carpeted floors, comfy beds and compact, shower-filled bathrooms that are separated by a sliding wood door. Each unit has a flatscreen television, Wi-Fi Internet access and thanks to big windows, everything inside is flooded with sunlight. There's a mini dining area and kitchenette with coffee and tea, a basement sauna and a little backyard patio where everyone can hang out.
