Lival is situated on the seaside promenade, which separates it from the beach in Brzezno, a district of Gdansk. You get to the hotel by driving along a narrow street until the end. There are pre-war houses, a church, some shops, seaside park, pier and a tramline nearby, the latter making it possible to get to the old centre in a few minutes. Some of the rooms overlook the sea with its ships and the harbour in the distance, the beach and its promenade with people walking, cycling, and jogging, while other rooms have a view of the little old houses of Brzezno. There is a small monitored car park at the hotel.
The four-storey Lival, painted in yellow, green and honey hues, could be said to be in the style of the 1930s. The building is topped with a typical seaside tower, while balconettes accompany most rooms. Lival offers thirty double rooms with showers and five suites with bathtubs. All rooms are equipped with minibars, satellite TV, high-speed Internet, hairdryers and individually controlled air-conditioning. The restaurant has a terrace with a sea view, and specialises in Pomeranian and international cuisine, and seafood too of course. Lival offers Sunday family buffet brunches, while children up to 5 years eat for free.
