HOTEL LOCATION & DESCRIPTION
A blink away from the Baltic waves, the Novotel Marina has sea views in store for every guests. In the Jelitkowo district of Gdansk, on the border of Sopot, this blocky white-green construct dominated the coastline for over two decades neighbours the Seaside Park, a campsite and small local gardens. Buses, stopping right out front, shuttle guests to either Sopot or the Oliwa train station, while a walk to the iconic Sopot pier takes 20 minutes, and a drive to old centre about 25 minutes.
Towering above the sandy beaches along the Tri-City coastline this business-focused accommodation is the place for a room with a view. Tidy standard-sized quarters are decorated in pleasant autumnal colours and come fitted with blond wood furnishings, satellite TVs, minibars, coffee and tea-making sets, Wi-Fi Internet access and tiled bathrooms with shower-tub combos. Units on the fifth floor also have safes and trouser presses. Those wanting to get their sport groove on need only go to downstairs to the indoor swimming pool, gym or the outdoor tennis court, volley ball and basketball courts. There's also saunas, massage rooms, a solarium provided by the Beauty Derm Institute. Children are catered to by a game-filled room, kids pool and a playground in the garden. There's also a kiosk, bar, an elegant restaurant with wraparound windows serving regional delicacies, plus 6 well-equipped conference rooms.
