Lezno is the very first place you come to on the road leading towards Kartuzy just after crossing the city limit of Gdansk. There is a shop, and every half hour there are buses to the city centre, 12 km away. The palace is situated 6 km from the Tri-city ring road and the shopping centre, and 8 km from the airport. From the rooms there is a view over the five hectare park and gravel driveway with its statue of a crane.
The fenced palace and park complex belongs to the University of Gdansk. The hotel, opened at the beginning of 2000, is housed in a red-brick palace dating back to the 14th century with an exterior from 1884. The palace interior retains its stylish character with balustrades, stained glass, arches, and floral reproductions. At your disposal are high palace suites with Biedermeier furniture, marital suites, coffee and tea making sets. In the annex, renovated in 2004, are sixteen identical single and double rooms with rather small windows and metal-framed beds. All rooms have bathrooms, cable TV, and access to the Internet. The reception is positioned under the staircase. You can rest in the impressive lounge-like reception hall, as well as sit in wicker armchairs on the terrace, in the library, or bowers. You can also go to the hotel pub or restaurant, sunbathe in the park, borrow bicycles, or use the sauna, gym, computer corner and table tennis free of charge.
