HOTEL LOCATION & DESCRIPTION
A well-preserved pre-war property that fully lives up to its moniker, Villa Eva is situated on the small Batorego Street near the centre of Wrzeszcz. The neighbourhood, lying between the centre of Gdansk and the outer Oliwa precinct, is freckled with shops, shopping centre, restaurants, banks, and buildings of the local university of technology. The Tri-City rapid transit train station is a brisk 10 minutes walk away, but there are also several bus and tram lines within 400 metres of the property.
With all it's old-world charm and refined elegance, this three-storey building really capture the essence of a villa by not only an exterior that is evocative of a small baroque palace, with an Art Deco canopy hanging over its entrance but also the intricately details interiors. All the furniture and bespoke pieces of art, from Tiffany-style lamps, decorative chandeliers, heavy curtains, gilded details, and reproduction elements with Hanza town motives reflect the owners passion for design. Rooms, all individually decorated, conceal a mix of tradition - furniture and paintings and modernity, including flat-screen TVs, ventilators and Wi-Fi Internet access. All have large windows that allow a flood of light in, and few have direct access to the garden and surrounding woodland. A dainty rustic wonder, the basement-level restaurant and wine cellar was hand-painted by a local artist and boasts international delicacies and wine from around the globe. The circular conference room has direct access the gardens and is fitted with a wide range of state-of-the-art devices.
