The Columbus Hotel is situated on a main road, handy for nipping between the three top tourist draws of the city – the historic medieval city centre, the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz and Wawel Castle sitting loftily above all else. It’s also an easy five minute taxi ride from the city’s main bus and train terminals.
The Columbus gets the thumbs up from many of our customers for its friendly and helpful service and the hotel has been designed in a sleek and contemporary style with dark hardwood furnishings and fittings. The rooms are carpeted with colourful swirls and decked out with sturdy wooden furniture, air-con, desk, safe and mini-bar. Some rooms vary in size and have small balconies and ten have a combined bath and shower, while the rest have shower only. On the ground floor you can relax in the restaurant or in the lounge with Internet terminal and cosy sofas to sink into. There are two conference rooms as well and in the high season you can put your feet up with a drink in the courtyard garden and enjoy the Polish sunshine.
