The Crown Piast is set in parkland near the Oflar Katynia Roundabout in the northern district of Bronowice. By car, visitors will need to turn right from the Radzikowskiego Highway into a small car park and follow the signs directing them to the hotel. It’s in a good location for fast and easy connections to Warsaw, Katowice, other major Polish cities and the airport via the A4 Highway. Getting to the main city centre and bus and train terminals will take around half an hour.
The Crown Piast is a luxurious hotel and is part of the Wawel-Imos International chain. Its top floor higher standard rooms are built into the attic and have sloping roofs. These come with a kitchen area and all the regular accessories including mini-bar, safe and air-con. Rooms on the lower floors are more chintzy in style, with floral bedspreads and frilly furnishings. Bathrooms come with a shower only. The reception and restaurant are certainly impressive. Both are grand areas and the restaurant looks out onto the pretty gardens complete with gazebo for summer BBQs.
