For anyone wanting to explore the Jewish area of Krakow, Dom Casimi is perfectly located as it’s bang on Szeroka Square, Kazimierz’s main historic quarter. The square is rich in Jewish history with synagogues, restaurants and cafes. The old medieval city centre and Wawel Castle are an easy 15 minute walk away, although they could take longer to reach as there are plenty of distractions on the way.
Dom Casimi is a cosy, intimate, little family run guest house crafted out of an historic house. The rooms are spread over three floors and standard rooms are furnished in a simple style. Deluxe rooms have a touch more comfort with more elegant furnishings, antique pieces and furniture and extras such as tea and coffee- making facilities. All rooms and hallways evoke a sense of the area’s past with old-style sepia framed photos and pictures, accessories and polished wooden floorboards. Bathrooms all come with a shower and are spotless and functional. Guests are entitled to a 15 percent discount in the adjoining Indian restaurant and there's free bike hire too. Note, there's no lift in this three storey guest house.
