Globus is in a prime spot on a main road between the historic city centre and the lively hip hang-out of Kazimierz, so it’s in the perfect location to split your time between the two. There’s also a bustling antiques market at weekends at nearby Hala Targowa. A brisk five to ten minutes walk will take you to any of these areas from Globus.
Opened in 2009 Globus’s apartments have been decked out in warm Mediterranean yellows and oranges giving a cosy and intimate glow to the rooms. The reception is housed at the end of an attractive, tiled entrance lined with rustic benches and dotted with plants. Apartments are on three floors, in a combination of sizes and feature flat screen TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities, sleek bathrooms with showers, dark wooden furnishings and wireless Internet connection. There’s no lift access in the four storey building and rooms on the first and second floors have high, lofty ceilings.
