You'll find the guest rooms on Matejki Square which is just across a road from the city's old medieval fortress and the main market square with all its attractions and museums. Matejki Square is the site of several war memorials and it's here that Krakow's citizens gather to mark independence day celebrations. The main bus and train terminals are only a minute away by taxi.
There are three spacious rooms available for guests at Janexim-Matejki Square Guest Rooms, which can each sleep up to four people. Rooms are light and airy with parquet flooring and are done out with old chunky furniture and knick knacks that make the spaces look endearingly dated. Private bathrooms are basic and all come with a shower. One room is decked out in pine from floor to ceiling giving it the look of a Finnish sauna. Outside the rooms there's a kitchen area where breakfast is served. All in all, the guest rooms would suit a small group of friends, backpackers looking for an upgrade or anyone after a basic, no-frills joint.
