HOTEL LOCATION & DESCRIPTION
The Kossak faces the mighty Wawel Castle and Wisła River and is a five to ten minute easy stroll from the city centre. The historic Jewish area of Kazimierz, just beyond the castle, can be reached in about 20 minutes. The main bus and train terminals are about a ten minute cab ride away.

Opened in 2009, the Kossak Hotel boasts ultra modern rooms, many of which have glorious vistas of Wawel Castle and the Wisła River. Sleeping quarters, with generous-sized beds, are spacious with top-notch contemporary furnishings. All come with safe, mini-bar and flat screen TVs. Bathrooms are stylish and most have a combined bath and shower. Suites have guaranteed views from their lounge and bedroom of the castle and extras include bespoke purple velvet sofas. Guests without Wawel views can still take them in from the top floor cocktail bar, with its life-size replica Stallion lamp. A gym, sauna, ground floor restaurant, bar and conference suite seal a rather impressive deal.

    A hot and cold buffet breakfast is served from 7:00 until 10:00am. Special diets and breakfasts outside these hours can be catered for with prior notice.

    Children up to four are accommodated free of charge in their parents' room. Children aged bewteen 4-12 years receive a 50 percent discount. One extra child is allowed in the triple rooms. Baby cots and high chairs are free of charge. The restaurant has a kids menu and there are also toys available for children.

    There is one separate floor for smokers and all other rooms and floors are for non-smokers. Smoking in restaurants is only allowed at lunch and dinner and in the bars.
