Petrus is in a top spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city as it sits at the gateway of Park Skały Twardowskiego, a mountainous and wild landscape. Within the park adventurous types can amble up the Kopiec Kościuszki for city views. It takes about 20 minutes from the nearest tram stop ‘Kapelanka’ to get to the historic city centre or 30 minutes to the main bus and train station.
Set in peaceful woodland surrondings, the Petrus offers an escape from the city. Rooms are attractively decked out with sleek dark wood furniture and cream colour tones offset with orchids lending a splash of colour to the sleeping spaces. Bedrooms vary a little in size as some have an alcove offering a pinch more space. There’s a white linen restaurant on the ground floor that serves up a good selection of regional and international plates. There are some snug corners dotted around the hotel where guests can unwind.
