The Santorini's in a tranquil and leafy part of Nova Huta. A few minutes stroll away is a lake surrounded by bike and walking trails, a cultural centre and Jan Matejki's Manor house. A wander around the heart of Nova brings Soviet-realism to life and and the local museum charts the story of the suburb. It takes about 15 minutes by car to the city centre or 20 to the main train station by tram.
Eastern Europe fuses with the Mediterranean in the Santorini, with its inviting decor and design inspired by the Greek island. Guest rooms are shaded in a sandstone colour scheme and come complete with working desk, fitted furnishings and en-suite modern shower room. Rooms are on the small side though, meaning some double beds get shoved against the wall. Its Grecian themed restaurant dishes up a few Mediterranean specialities and sports classical columns and arty brickwork revealing reclining Gods and nymphs. Along with conference facilities and a lobby bar, the Santorini makes a good choice for business folk needing a relaxed place to recharge their batteries.
