The Saski is situated on a historic road just a stone’s throw from the main market square. In the same street are several hotels including the Grand and on the nearest corner of the square to the Saski is the Krakow City Museum. The city's main bus and train terminals are only a five minute taxi ride away.
The Hotel Saski has a regal and imposing facade with steps leading into a large, airy lobby with the reception on the right. The building dates from the 16th century and the hotel has a combination of single, double/twin and triple rooms and suites. The Saski exudes a shabby chic, rooms are clean and functional, however the furnishings now have a dated look and it seems like time for a facelift. Rooms have high ceilings, floorboards and windows are single-glazed. The top suites sport wall frescoes of nymphs and gods with Rocco style furniture – good if you’re looking for something special. Six rooms have shared bathroom facilities.
