Located in a residential area on the outskirts of Poznan's central area, Hotel 222 is oddly poised atop a petite shopping plaza. It's a simple-place-to-crash kind of place with good access to public transport: tram lines 6 and 13 stop right in front of the hotel with services every few minutes.
The best way to sum up the hotel is: not terribly exciting yet comfortable, with an eager staff that is full of local tips. Rooms are simply furnished with low-rise beds, wood desks and wardrobes and shower-only bathrooms. Most are on the poky side, but at least they come with mini-bars, wall-mounted TVs, and Wi-Fi Internet. Dark velvety colours create an intimate atmosphere in the restaurant and hotel club, which has a small selection of beverages and a billiard table. An 80-person, fully-equipped conference rooms is available for business or private events.
