Hotel Victor is a three-floor property set amidst a serene and green area of Pruszkow, a small town 12 kilometres from the centre of Warsaw and approximately 10 kilometres from Frederic Chopin International Airport. With a voluminous sport complex next door, one that features an aqua park and a newfangled cycling track, this place encourages a leisurely pace, but if touristic sightseeing is also on the itinerary then it will take about 30-40 minutes to reach the capital's hub by the Warsaw Suburban Railway (WKD).
This 2008 newcomer has the feel of a tightly-run ship with streamlined interiors, attractive facilities and a management team the keeps the place spic-and-span and seems genuinely concerned about the welfare of it guests. Rooms here tend to be larger than those found in the capital, fitted with plush and colourful furnishings, coffee and tea-making facilities and broadband Internet access - some even boast kitchenettes, laptop-size safes and bathtubs. Fuel up with coffee and sweets at the downstairs cafe, sample Polish and Mediterranean meals at the Olimpia Restaurant and later wind down with a cool glass of beer in the authentic-looking Irish Pub. Those who travel for business purposes can organize meetings or networking events in five well-equipped, air-conditioned conference rooms.
