Considering we had booked a month in advance this was disappointing. We were shown to another room however this was a smoking room and with only one bed. Eventually we agreed to stay in a room with only one child bed and had to move the next day as the hotel was full that night. This was inconvienent and we had a miserable night sleep as a consequence. Hotel guest should be advised that when travelling on public transport the trams they should validate there tickets after boarding. My wife purchased a ticket however had not validated her ticket. She was travelling alone and surrouded by four large men and a women who demanded immediate payment of a 169.00 zloty fine. They were very aggressive causing her considerable upset. She returned to the hotel in tears. Overall i found the hotel staff very helpful. I only wished they had advised us of the robust and aggressive nature of the men who police the trams. This did not spoil our holiday and we found the polish people in Sczcecin very nice. We would come again and stay at the Novotel
