The Filmar Hotel is situated in the city centre, close to the Old Town of Torun, and it will take around 15 minutes to get to the Old Market Square, while nearby there is a multiplex cinema. There is a major crossroads where four important streets merge just 200m away: Szosa Chelminska, Aleja Solidarnosci, Czerwona Droga and Odrodzenia. However, Grudziadzka Street, where the hotel is located, is a side street, so you can expect a tranquil stay at the Filmar.
The largest hotel in Torun so far, it is a result of the reconstruction of a former shopping centre. Of the 150 rooms or so in the hotel, you have a choice of single, double, twin, triple, studios and suites, all painted in bright colours and equipped with modern, comfortable furniture. The hotel pays more attention to comfort and relaxation than to the particular style of the rooms. All of the rooms have free cable Internet access.
