One of a small number of small hotels scattered around the Old Town, it is located on one of the side streets near the Old Market Square. All of the major attractions such as the Town Hall, St. Mary’s and St. John’s Churches, Copernicus’ House, Szeroka Street and the Planetarium are within a short walking distance from the hotel.
The Petite Fleur is, as its name suggests, really small, since it is housed in two historical buildings and is comprised of only 22 rooms. It belongs to the Polish Prestige Hotels & Resorts group, but has a unique interior shaped by the ancient buildings in which it is situated. Meticulously renovated both inside and out, the hotel offers tasteful, stylish rooms. Some elements of the Gothic interior were reconstructed and give one an idea of how historical the hotel is. Also, the Petite Fleur has been decorated with paintings, while the timber beams in some of the rooms and furniture have an antique feel. Apart from the rather small singles, the remaining rooms are quite spacious. All of them have cable Internet access and there is also wireless Internet in the lobby. The hotel’s historical character is its great advantage, but keep in mind that the stairs are both high and steep, and there is no elevator. There is an elegant restaurant offering a French menu located in the visibly Gothic cellar of the hotel.
