The Aldona Botel is situated on the Wisla River, near the Poniatowski Bridge (Aleje Jerozolimskie), just 15 minutes walking distance from the Old Town and Nowy Swiat Street. In order to get to the Aldona from the main railway station, Dworzec Centralny, you can take any tram heading to Praga, the eastern part of Warsaw, and get off at the Most Poniatowskiego stop.
Aldona is a hostel based on a pair of two decked boats which are joined together. It is equipped with standard heating, and the rooms are rather small and arranged in bright, yellow colours. Showers and toilets are in the corridor, available to all guests. The Aldona Hostel does not serve breakfast, so it is better to bring some food which you can prepare in the common kitchen. This hostel also offers you the possibility to have a beer and some charming views of the setting sun on the Aldona's deck. Accommodation at this hostel would be best for money-saving travellers.
