Holiday Inn Warsaw stands as a six-storey white concrete corner building just across street from the Palace of Culture and Science and the glitzy Zlote Tarasy shopping centre with its full range of fashion retailers, restaurant and entertainment venues. The main train station is ten minutes away on foot and a numerous public transport lines around the hotel allows visitors easy access to other parts of the city.
Besides its supremely central location, there is nothing particularly outstanding about staying at Holiday Inn Warsaw, although it is a consistently comfortable, well-maintained and welcoming hotel. The split-level, glass-fronted foyer boasts oversized trees and splashes of bronze artwork, while the air-conditioned rooms are spotless and sensibly furnished. A "pillow menu" lets guests choose from five different natural dawn-feather or synthetic anti-allergic cushions. Fitness enthusiast can work on high-tech gym equipment and then relax in a jacuzzi or sauna. There are also two restaurants, two bars and a charming café called Wienner Kaffeehaus.
