On a quiet side street in the residential district of Mokotow, just two kilometres from the city centre, Hotel Reytan is a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang your hat. Both the Royal Lazienki Park with its Baroque-style Belweder Palace and the Centre for Contemporary Art are 15-20 minute stroll away. In order to get to the hotel, it would be best to take a tram heading to Pulawska Street, or a taxi.
Hotel Reytan is made up of two sections: a five-story main building with the reception and an older, lift-less side structure joined by a backyard patio. The simple mid-sized rooms are functional and decorated with soft colours and blonde wood trimmings. They overlook either the street or the patio, but it's just as quiet either way. Hearty Polish dishes are offered at the ground-level restaurant and drinks can be enjoyed in the garden during summertime, which seems to be the highlight of the hotel.
