This large seven-storey building is located at the intersection of the traffic-heavy Ostrobramska and Grochowska streets in the souther Praga Poludnie district of Warsaw. Travelling to popular inner-city tourist spots will take longer (approximately 30 minutes by trams that stop some 100 metres from the entrance), but the two nearby shopping centres - King Cross and Promenada - mean that there is plenty of shopping and dining outlets to choose from.
While it's east of the downtown action, Ibis Ostrobramska offers low-key luxury and a conservative business-traveller vibe. Rooms are decorated in standard chain-hotel style (think clean lines and plenty of beige) and come dutifully equipped with large workstations, puffy beds, plasma television, shower cabins and wireless Internet access. Downstairs there's a conference room for 60 people, a small snack bar with hot and cold drinks and L'Estaminet restaurant a bistro-like space featuring European food with strong French and Polish accents.
