HOTEL LOCATION & DESCRIPTION
The quintessential Warsaw backpacker destination, Oki Doki Hostel is centrally situated near the junction of Swietokrzyska and Marszalkowska Streets. It occupies the top floors of a historic, palatial 1920s building known as the "sweet home", named so for its former function as the headquarters of the Socialist Food Industry Department. The iconic Palace of Culture and Science, Swietokrzyska metro station and a bunch of hip, happening clubs, bars and restaurants are available within 10 minutes walking distance.
Vibrant, fun and friendly, this budget spot packs a young, zloty-conscious crowd out to make the most of their stay in the Polish capital. Rooms, all in different size and style, display the imaginative design of local artists, with colourful wall art, mix-and-match furniture and funky bric-a-brac decorations. The larger dorm-style units (some single-sex, other co-ed) share spotlessly-kept outside bathrooms while private rooms boast single-shooters: one shower, one toilet. There's also lot of other hostel essentials: free WiFi Internet access, lively common room equipped with computers, kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee, bicycle rental, laundry and enthusiastic staff members who keep guest informed about daily party possibilities.
