The Polonia Palace is located in the very centre of Warsaw, with some of the rooms (and also the famous English Suite) overlooking the Palace of Culture and Science. There are also many shops and restaurants within close proximity of the hotel.
The Polonia Palace Hotel was established in 1913, and is one of the few Warsaw buildings that remained undestroyed during the war. There was a general overhaul at the hotel for two years, and afterwards, in 2005, the hotel began receiving guests once again. The rooms of the Polonia Palace are all painted in the same warm colours and equipped with sound-proofed windows. The Internet connection is wired in the rooms and wireless in the lobby and the restaurants. In both cases, you need to pay an additional fee in order to surf the Web. There is also a gym at the hotel which you can use 24 hours a day. However, the highlight of the Polonia Palace is the Ludwikowska Ballroom, which used to be the hotel’s restaurant and has now been adapted for conference, banquet and wedding purposes.
