Qubus Krakow is part of the Qubus hotel chain and fronts the Wisła. It's located just over the river from the medieval city centre in the up and coming Podgorze district. It takes around 10 minutes to cross over the bridge to reach Kazimierz and 20 or so to reach Wawel Castle and the city centre. Near the hotel is Plac Bohaterów with its arresting memorial to the victims of the Ghetto.

The Qubus Krakow's 'skyscaper' reception with its glass canopy and palm trees soaring upwards sets the hotel's tone of sleek sophistication. However, Qubus is more than just a hotel. It's a top quality complex offering beautifully styled rooms and suites, bars, lounges, a dedicated conference floor, gourmet restaurant and entertainment and leisure spots. Standard rooms are a good size with modern fittings and all the prerequisite accessories. Stylish bathrooms, with shower and bath, warm up nicely with their heated floors. Some rooms face inward to the palm tree courtyard, others nab a river facing view. The Milestone Jazz Club lays on the best in cool sounds in a seductive, low-lit basement hangout.
