Enveloped by a dense fabric of trees in the picturesque Tri-City Landscape Park, Opera Antiaging & Spa hotel is fronted by a cobbled driveway and car park. An enchanted forest hideaway originating from 1931, this timber-built structure has had several previous incarnations, as a forester's cottage, maidens school lodging and a shooting centre. It's close to the Forest Opera, Morskie Oko pond, Lysa Gora ski lift, a kilometre from the railway station and half an hour’s walk from the oversized pier.
Canoodling couples, corporate types and health-seeking spa-goers alike will discover serenity in this intimate lodge enveloped by lush vegetation. The art deco style lobby has a roaring fireplace, oft-used piano and reproductions of pre-war photographs depicting Sopot. Rooms are dressed in earthy tones of yellow, orange and brown, with elegant dark wooden furniture and seductively comfortable beds. Satellite TV, safe boxes, minibars, Wi-Fi Internet access and shower-only bathrooms are the norm, while higher category units come with additional sofas, bathtubs and there's a 12-seater meeting table in the suite. There are two restaurants on the lobby level: the green Aria on the patio and the Sonata with its stained-glass windows and painting displays. On the underground level is the Lord Jim pub in the English club style, with billiards and an “island” bar, inter-connected with an intimate spa, offering wine and milk baths, as well as anti-aging procedures. Between the hotel and the forest is a terrace used for barbecue parties.
