The hotel is situated in the southern part of town, in Tetmajera Street, busy in Zakopane terms. It is close to Krupowki, reachable within minutes from the hotel, as well as the mountains. There is a public transport stop near the hotel. From the windows, you can see either the street or Giewont above it, the neighbouring hotel behind it, or hotel garden and Gubalowka.
Ten years’ old, and renovated two years ago, this three-storey, white building covered with grey shingles consists of both older and newer parts, constituting a peculiar mixture of large Zakopane-type of villa and holiday centre. There are four kinds of wood used in the hotel interior. Standard and lux rooms are equipped with magnetic locks, telephones, satellite TV, radios, mini-bars, safe-boxes, Internet, and bathrooms with showers, hairdryers, and heated floors. Bathtubs with Jacuzzi, sheep furs and fireplaces arranged in the middle are to be found in the lux rooms. Most of rooms have balconies, while a fireplace decorates the lobby and the reception. The reception also performs the role of cocktail bar, and remains permanently open. From the modest dining room, there is a nice view over the garden that surrounds the hotel. The Czarny Potok stream flows across it, and you can relax at its side while your children enjoy themselves on the playground. On the ground floor there is a well-known recreation centre with a partly transparent swimming pool, free for hotel guests, and a paid fitness room, sauna and Jacuzzi. The aquarium, always a feature of Trip Group hotels, neighbours the swimming pool, and this generates many funny comments. There is a travel agency, part of the same group, based in the building’s eastern wing.
