Lesniczowka u Zieby is tucked away in the heart of the Tatra countryside. It's well placed for the Dolina Chocholowska walking trail, which is popular with families, and the Dolina Koscieliska trail. There are minibuses that stop outside the hotel that take around 20 minutes to reach the city centre. Overseas guests should pack their passport when nipping out for a spin as the Slovak border is only around a five minute drive away from the hotel.
Lesniczowka u Zieby is a traditionally built wooden chalet with a restaurant on the ground floor and cosy rooms for up to four on its upper levels. Animal hide rugs and antler wall trophies decorate the entrance hall creating a true Highlander spirit. Wood walled and floored sleeping spaces are fitted with single beds, rugs and pine furnishings. Some are squeezed under the attic roofs, so guests may need to watch their heads. Bathrooms with shower cubicle are satisfyingly modern. As well as the restaurant and beer garden Lesniczowka u Zieby also has a bar that fronts the road dishing up hearty Polish fare and frothy mugs of Piwo at budget prices.
