Atelier is located in Sobiczkowa Bor, one of the “better” districts of Zakopane, where people popular in the Polish media have their homes. You need to take a narrow, asphalted street of the same name to get there: it connects two roads that exit Zakopane, and lead westward towards Koscielisko and Chocholow. Willa Atelier is situated between a swimming pool complex and the ski lifts of Szymaszkowa and Butorowy Wierch on one hand, and the Pod Reglami Path and Krzeptowki sanctuary, easily seen from the windows, on the other. You also have a view on the garden, meadows, mountains, and slopes with skiers, neighbouring guesthouses, the street, and a small, locked, but free car park. There is no name on the building.
Willa Atelier was built in 2000 using traditional materials like stone and timber. It is surrounded by a solid fence and a well kept garden. This modern and comfortable pension has been in operation for the last year and a half. Its exterior and interior, as well as the VIP clients, perfectly match the character of the area. Willa Atelier consists of six suites and rooms for 1-5 persons each, and can be booked as a block. Everything you need is available: rooms have bathrooms with showers, TVs, wireless Internet, fridges and DVD players. The rooms have interesting colour schemes, such as Indian pink and orange. At your disposal is a relaxation terrace, two fireplace rooms, and a lounge with dining, teatime and travel library corners, as well as a microwave oven. Spotlights, unique bed backrests, floor tiles imitating wood, well-utilised corners, and large mirrors are evidence of the effort gone into preparing this hotel. Nothing is accidental; the decor expresses the hosts’ artistic passion and confirms their good taste. The owner’s painting studio was formerly located here; his paintings decorate all of the rooms. He is also an alpinist, offering advice to mountaineers, and personally leading groups up into the mountains.
