The Pod Orlem Hotel is certainly one of the best hotels in Bydgoszcz, and it also has a great location. As a place which breathes the atmosphere of past centuries, the Pod Orlem Hotel is housed in a historic building dating back to 1896. Impressive and freshly renovated, it is covered with ornamentation typical for the elaborate architecture of 19th-century Bydgoszcz with some Art Nouveau influences. Its façade, decorated with cornices, pilasters and atlantes, is topped with a huge figure of an eagle, to which the hotel owes its name ‘Under the Eagle’. Inside the hotel the elegance matches the external appearance, starting from spacious lobby, through the rooms and suites, to the smart restaurant and conference rooms. Rooms are large, decorated with wallpaper and paintings, using furniture in the Art Deco style. All of them are equipped with free cable Internet access, pay-per-view, and satellite TV and minibars. There are also four impressive suites, including the Artur Rubinstein suite with its own piano. Nice detailing, such as stylish doors, decorations on the staircase, and the old-fashioned music in the corridors gives the impression that time has stopped there.
