Abak is located away from the older part of Gdansk, in the Suchanino residential district. There are frequent public buses to whisk you to the centre, only 2.5 km away. There are supermarkets, a small market place, a taxi stand, a bank, and a fuel station nearby. There are views over local gardens and a school.
Abak consists of two buildings: a three-storey guesthouse built in 2003 standing inside the yard, and a villa housing the reception located next to the busy street. Abak offers simple single, double, and triple rooms decorated in pastel colours, most of them with pinewood furniture and bathrooms. You can watch satellite TV and connect to the Internet free of charge. Refrigerators, kettles, free coffee, tea and drinking water are available on all floors. The splendid breakfasts, served in the cosy dining room on the underground level, are reputed to attract people from other establishments. You have the possibility to relax in the garden or the bower, to have a barbeque, play billiards or table tennis or to order food from restaurants nearby. Abak in many aspects is reminiscent of a hostel where members of a family look after you. The owners have been running their own travel agency for several years and gladly provide practical information or organise transport.
