Set on the edge of the sandy Baltic seaside (less than 30 metres from the cooling waves), Lival Hotel is positioned in the outer-lying Brzezno district of Gdansk. The four-storey structure, painted in yellow, green and honey hues, resembles the style of the 1930s. The building is topped with a typical seaside tower, while the majority of rooms open out onto private balconies which offer panoramic views of the harbour in the distance, the beach and its promenade with people walking, cycling, and jogging. There are pre-war houses, a church, some shops, seaside park, pier and a tramline nearby, the latter making it possible to get to the old centre in a few minutes.
With its splendid seaside setting, cosy interiors and friendly service, Lival Hotel is where recreation meets relaxation. In the air-conditioned guests rooms, warm woods, burgundy walls and creamy textiles dominate, and creature comforts come in the way of minibars, satellite TVs, shiny shower-only bathrooms and wireless Internet access. Split-level apartments in the towers have wraparound windows and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Pomeranian specialities and international dishes are served in the elegant ground-floor restaurant, and lunch can be taken on the terrace facing the sea.
