Occupying a stately four-storey building near Kartuska Street and Armii Krajowej Avenue, the two important routes connecting with the Tri-city ring road, Residence Isabel is sheltered from the chaos of the city but close enough to easily reach all the attractions. Tram lines, some 400 metres from the property, go directly to the central railway station and Old Town zone.
In its character as well as its dimensions, this inviting bed & breakfast is appealing to style-sensitive guests who take pleasure in the finer things in life: elegant furnishings, fine wine and supremely friendly service. The castle-like exterior, with its two towers, antique statue by the stair, and creeping vines on the iron railings set the scene for the exquisite affair that awaits within. The interior is the result of the collecting passion of the owner; the special character is assisted by the antiques in the variously sized and decorated suites. Most rooms have four-poster beds, some have split levels with views of the Old Town and the docks from the top floor, and two have balconies overlooking the local gardens and the cobbled street. All units have large windows, spacious bathrooms, satellite TVs, Wi-Fi Internet access, coffee and tea-making sets, and some have LCD screens, refrigerators, desks, corner bathtubs with a Jacuzzi in addition. The place prides itself on it's knick-knack-filled wine cellar with wines from all over the world and its festively festooned four-table restaurant that can also host conferences for up to 30 people.
