Stara Karczma (Old Inn) is located in the historical centre of Oliwa, on a busy street that gives easy access to the Tri-city‘s ring road. Nearby, there are numerous small shops and various services, and in the same building there is a bank, pastry shop and Mexican restaurant, where Karczma can get you a discount. The hotel is close to the Oliwa Cathedral, the Tri-city Landscape Beauty Park and the Zoo. There is a tramline and a Tri-city rapid transit train (SKM) station nearby, so you can easily get to any part of the Tri-city or the airport. The rooms have a view on the street or the well-kept, cobbled yard, that now forms a relaxing terrace with a grill. The car park is free.
The hotel is a three-storey building housing the reception, plus a second one in the yard made of brick. There is a hand-made metal gate to close off the yard, and there are numerous other artistic objects around the hotel made of iron, including the balustrades, hangers, TV tables, bed backrests, as well as original wooden beams, and watercolours for sale. The guesthouse offers 27 single and double rooms with bathrooms, free access to the Internet and cable TV. There are refrigerators, coffee and tea making sets, LCD screens in the three studios of one or two rooms. Two of them have kitchenettes, and one has a beautiful terrace. You can use the solarium, borrow a bike or a mobile phone charger.
