Situated just outside the city centre, it takes around 10 minutes by cab to reach Marysin Dwór from the main bus and train terminals. The hotel can also be reached by local train, as the stop Katowice Załęże is just across the street. There are good connections to the A4 Highway, putting Krakow just over an one hour away by car from the hotel.
Heave open the creaking oak doors to the chalet style Marysin Dwór and prepare to enter a world that's almost like stepping into a Brothers Grimm fairytale. The restaurant, conference rooms and hallways are clad entirely in pine with beam-timbered ceilings, antler light fittings and stone hearths. The restaurant even has a Hansel and Gretal style 'cabin' for intimate dinner parties. Dimly lit hallways spookily lead the way to standard and superior sleeping chambers. All are a good size with dark wood floorboards, with either contemporary or antique styled furnishings, mini-bars, safes and free cable Internet. For an atmospheric stay, Marysin Dwór is hard to beat.
