The hotel is situated some distance away from the centre, about 10 minutes bus ride away from the Old Town. It is easy to find, being just off Raclawickie Avenue, the main street into Lublin if you come from the Warsaw direction. The campuses of the Sklodowska-Curie university, the Agricultural university and the Catholic University are nearby. The hotel is located in a peaceful environment, in the middle of a residential district dating from the 1960s. The hotel is located about 10 km from the new Lublin Airport.

This 1960s hotel was modernised in 2000, and has a painted figure of a mounted hussar on the side of the building. The interiors done out in green and yellow tones. The single and double rooms are remarkable for their large size, and they have bathrooms with showers, cable TV, coffee and tea making sets. Refrigerators and air-conditioning are available, but only for above standard rooms only. The internet is accessible on two floors so far, and there is a newspaper stand, free drinking water machine, Internet corner, and decorative aquaria in the lobby. The air-conditioned conference rooms are often used by the city’s four universities, the restaurant serves old-Polish, Italian, French and oriental dishes, and guests can use the car park near the hotel.
