The hotel stands close to the busy Raclawickie Avenue, with the old Saski Park with its jogging paths on the other side of the street. You can walk to the Plac Litewski square within 10 minutes, and the hotel is close to the Philharmonic Hall, the Catholic University, the Congress Centre, the Lublin TV station and Lublin Plaza shopping and entertainment centre. From the nearby Catholic University one can sometimes hear a choir singing.
Opened in 1971, this air-conditioned hotel has five floors and a conference room level. There is modern furniture, beds with double mattresses, bathrooms with hair-dryers, paid and satellite TV, and Internet access in each room. The quieter superior rooms on the upper floors are equipped with new bathrooms, kettles, coffee and tea. The suites have mini-bars, safe-boxes, wardrobe lamps, telephones in each part, bathtubs, bidets and a sound system that include the bathrooms. Anti-allergic beddings are available. The Unia restaurant offers regional, continental, special diet, and children’s dishes, as well as breakfasts featuring dumplings and pancakes, while the restaurant is proud of its sommelier. Cafe Nostalgia, the Internet corner and newspaper stand can be found in the lobby, and there is a private, small gym on the top floor, which is free to use by guests.
